- Email Marketing
Sending out emails regularly is a great way to keep you and your brand in front of your audience. What should be in your emails? There are a lot of options. Share helpful tips, feature one of your products or services, highlight an upcoming event you may be having, or send a special promotion.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
When’s the last time you “Googled it”? I bet it was at some point today. Your audience is searching online and the best way to get found is by creating content that Google deems worthy of sharing. Whether you write blog posts, record podcasts or create infographics, make sure you’re consistently creating quality content others will find useful. You could also create videos! Did you know that the second largest search engine is YouTube? Although lots of people are talking about creating video, most still haven’t gotten in the game so break out your camera and get recording!
- Social Media
Don’t worry. You don’t need to be on every social media platform. In fact, a better strategy is to pick the right platform for your small business and consistently create and share awesome content. And whether you love Facebook or not, your audience is most likely there so if you haven’t created a Facebook page for your business, what are you waiting for?
Ryan also talks about the importance of registering your business on Google My Business. You want your customers to know you’re actually in business, right? Of course, you do.
