3 Takeaways from Social Fresh 2017

Finally got to meet Brian Fanzo in person. Such a great guy. Check him out at www.isocialfanz.com

A couple of weeks ago, I attended a conference called Social Fresh. Well, I did more than attend. I got to interview some incredible speakers on live video. It’s one of my favorite things to do. 😉

Why does that matter to you? Well, I get to share some of the creative strategies I learned from meeting today’s marketing leaders.

After two days of listening to amazing speakers and meeting some pretty cool people, I drove home with a head full of new ideas. I can’t wait to implement and share them with my clients. I wish I could share all of my new insights with you, but that would take way too long. Instead, here are three takeaways I believe will get your creative juices flowing as we close the year and get ready for 2018.

Check out my latest Facebook live video where I share three key takeaways from Social Fresh 2017.

  1. Invest in User Generated Content
Creating lots of content for your business is challenging. We all know it takes time and money to create. Instead of trying to do it all yourself, get your audience to join in on the fun by sharing content they’ve created about your product or service. Tyler Anderson, Founder of Casual Fridays, gave a presentation on this topic. Click here to check out the video where I interviewed him. He shared some great ideas that are sure to inspire you to get started.
  2. Video. Video. Video.
If Social Fresh was the Oscars, video marketing would have been the big winner. Not only were videos part of many presentations throughout the conference, but the attendees were buzzing about it all weekend long. Everyone was scoping out how others are using video and trying to create their own video strategy for 2018. Since video is my favorite form of content to create, I was pretty excited about it.
  3. Attend Conferences to Make Connections & Build Relationships
Going to conferences is one of the best ways to stay up to date on the current trends of your business. It’s also an effective and fun way to meet other like-minded, savvy professionals. It’s a blast to finally meet some of my online friends in person.

I hope you found these tips useful. I’d love to hear from you! How do you plan to use video in 2018? Tweet me or find me on Facebook so we can connect.
