Week 1: Introduction & Goal Setting
During week one, you will have the opportunity to meet all other participants and introduce yourself and your business. You will also identify the one main goal you would like to achieve by the end of the course.
Week 2: Developing Your Story that Sells
Often times we assume our prospects, friends and colleagues know exactly what we do and what our business provides. We think our marketing pieces and messages are effective, yet we are confused when new clients or customers aren’t flowing in consistently. Improving your message and developing the right story will help help you get more referrals, leads and sales.
Week 3: Prospecting & Sales
Before we dive right into getting new clients online, we will identify more effective ways to get business from your existing clients, creating stronger strategic alliances and developing your dream client list.
Week 4: Website
Once you have edited your message, it’s time to share it with the world and generate a following of happy clients, customers and prospects. Bonus: You will receive an analysis of your existing website including recommended changes.
Week 5: Social Media on a Budget
Social media allows small businesses to build an audience, improve customer service and enhance their online presence. This session is all about creating content your current and potential clients will love and share. We will also talk through with social networking sites are best for your business.
Week 6: Advertising
Building your business organically is ideal. But when you are looking to generate immediate results, even a small budget can help generate new business. During this session we will discuss advertising on Google, Bing and a variety of social media sites to help you generate new leads.
Week 7: Customer Service & Asking for Referrals
Getting new clients is great, but it’s even more rewarding to create value for current clients/ customers as a way to build up your referral network. This week is all about strategies to increase client retention, get referrals and potentially increasing the lifetime value of your clients by expanding your services.
Week 8: Wrap Up & Final Q&A
The last session will recap everything discussed during the course. With the group, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, talk through new ideas and get feedback on anything you are working on.
