Online Marketing Strategies from Content Marketing World Speaker Andy Crestodina

2016-09-13Last week I attended Content Marketing Institute’s Content Marketing World. How was it? AMAZING!

Of course, I enjoy learning all of the latest trends, tools, and strategies during the sessions, but what I love even more is connecting with awesome people doing incredible work. I was basically running around the conference looking for the cool marketers and entrepreneurs I follow online. There’s nothing like connecting with them face-to-face.

I also love meeting new people I hadn’t yet discovered. Andy Crestodina is one gentleman I was quite impressed with and very happy to meet. He is one of the co-founders of Orbit Media Studios and he’s a smart marketer. He gave one of the opening keynote presentations. It was jam packed with great information about how to create a content marketing strategy that works.

He talked about search engine optimization (SEO), how using facts and data in your posts can increase the number of shares, and how to get social and collaborate online with others the right way.

For those of you who didn’t get to experience his awesomeness live, I wanted to capture a piece and share it with you. I pulled Andy aside and asked him a few questions about his presentation so you can enjoy some of the key takeaways. He talked about social media and collaborating with others, how to figure out your domain authority so you know what phrases to target while trying to get found online (he gives some love to Moz, one of my favorite companies), the topics that get the most effective results in search and more. Check out our fun conversation here:
