While internet marketing is an extremely effective way to get new clients and customers, building an online presence takes some time especially if you are a new small business on a shoestring budget. As a savvy business owner, you do whatever it takes to grow which is why we can’t underestimate the power of face-to-face interactions and relationship building as a way to get quality leads and clients.
When I started a social media marketing firm in 2012, the first ten clients I brought on board were either people I had known for years or referrals from friends or colleagues who knew me and trusted the work I had done.
Once you get some great clients and start to build your business, you will then have the income to start investing in an online marketing strategy that works for you.
