22 Nov Silence is Underrated
When was the last time you sat in silence? No television, podcast, video, or even music playing in the background while you work.
Silence.
As a life-long learner, I love feeding my mind with information. All. The. Time. When I’m at the gym, driving in my car, in line at Trader Joe’s, or at home cooking a meal, I’m usually listening to a podcast, audiobook, or a social audio app like Clubhouse.
But lately, I crave silence. Silence creates space to think. To wonder. To see what shows up. To uncover what matters most. To notice what you’ve been ignoring.
Silence is a simple pleasure we often forget to enjoy. But it’s where we discover so much about ourselves and our dreams.
How would your life be different if you spent a little more time sitting in silence?
